Clan News - December 15th

Hello everyone! This is the first edition of what I hope will be a more regular source of information for clan members. Typically the news spreads by word of mouth and forum threads in the past, but we're going to try and make things a little easier for you. Roughly once a week there will be a news announcement for members to hear plans, events, or just a simple "Hi, we're still here."

The first few items of business have to deal with the CS:S Division. Right now they have no Division Leader, but we're currently holding a vote for the next one. The current Advisors and Elites have all put in their opinions and votes, and the poll has now been passed down to the Soldiers. That's right guys! Check the Soldiers forum and get your vote in as soon as possible!

One of our resident CS:S Advisors, AK47-Slut has recently posted the results for his Zombie Mapping Competition! If you hadn't heard about this before, go check it out! You can view all the contestant maps in the thread. Great work everyone! Make sure you thank AK47 for donating his time and money for this event.

On the note of events and giveaways, don't forget that the highest donator to the CS:S Division will receive a free copy of TF2 this month! I know TF2 isn't exactly geared towards CS:S, but hey, it's a free game.

CS:S Division is badly in need of donations! Last month we weren't able to come up with the money for our servers, which threatens to have them shut down! Please make sure you give it a thought if you enjoy your time here. Even the smallest donation helps. If every member were to donate a dollar, we'd easily cover each month's costs.

That's everything for now. If you'd like something to be brought up in next week's news post, feel free to PM Sshado about it! I'd be happy to write up a short bit on any subject.

I like the Idea of WEEKLY NEWS...keeps everyone updated that might have missed something.

Yeah, this is a great idea, especially for those who are busy and can't log on too often, and need news updates more than others.

I like the idea and it would really help others keep on track with whats new and important , but i say we have CS:S subttle and a TF2 subtiles. like give an intrro then divide the rest up

Great idea, wasn't the last news like in June? Anyways I have been looking forward to this for awhile, how often are you posting news?
