For some reason I move faster than other players, its either because of lag or console commands (cl_updaterate or something). Polah banned me and accused me of speed hacking, as said in the ban. However, I don't hack, and wouldn't; its a VAC server so I could get my account VAC banned. Plus the fact its a Jailbreak server that I play on, so there wouldn't be much of a point. Its not lag from your server, because I went on a GG server with Reloaded and still appeared to have the speed. I checked my cl_updaterate value and it was 60, I changed it to 100 and that didn't to anything. Another thing I can note is that my ping remained between 5-10 on the GG server, so the people there said I was speed hacking, however someone said on the voice chat that its what happened when the cl_updaterate was too low or something, I dunno to be honest. So, I was banned for appearing to be speed hacking, but I don't. Its just something to do with the console commands, and as of yet I have no means of fixing it. But I can assure you I don't hack. I've read through the database thing that Polah sent me and it said that Permanent bans come after being "mercy striked", well, I didn't get any, thats why I'm appealing. Then again I shouldn't need to appeal because of the reason I was banned, ah well.

Breaking any one of these rules can land you the most severe punishment of a permanent ban. Do not count on receiving mercy strikes or warnings. If you break the rules, you will be punished; how severely is dependent upon the admin's discretion.

It appears that you're speedhacking, whether it's because you are using actual hacks of some kind, because you can get ones that can get past the VAC system if it's not registered as a hack of some kind, or because you have bad rates.

Either way, until you fix the problem so you're playing the same as everyone else, you can stay banned for at least a while.

Well if he post a replie here about having it fixed you could unban him, and then if any1 noticed him too speedy or some other kind of haxX, you could just ban him again. Ofc its not so good if he rly has hacks and only uses it while no members is on. But i would give him another chance..

I clarified in my post that I don't hack, and yes, there are some hacks that bypass VAC, but even then, why hack? It degrades the fun of the game. You said I appeared to be speed "hacking", as I said, for some reason I have more speed than other players, and it occurs on other servers as well, so its not a problem with the wD server and if it was a hack I could have closed it on the previous occasions when people noticed it, right? If I give you my cl rates you can compare them to yours, I can assure you that one or two will be mismatched to yours.

There are almost no speedhacks left in existence for CS:S. They are useless.

Usually they go much faster than "slightly above average speed", and usually they aimbot too.

as he says he fixed it he should be given another chance ive also played with him on other servers were he dosent move as quick but he only goes slightly faster not proper speed hacking speeds

Lol, I remember typing a command and console and I was faster than other people, it was lulz cause I was playing on a soccer map. Unban him, it was a misunderstanding.

I'm not entirely sure how having crappy rates would lead to you moving faster, since all calculations and interpolations are done server-side. Unless your vel stayed at not more than 250 normally, you're fine. Anything more than that and it's not legit, even if it's just messed rates. There have been times when I've used really low rates, but I've never experienced faster rates.

Thought I would mention thus, you can actually run at 275 velocity max if you know how to strafe the correct way :P
